Welcome,
Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or refining your artistic technique, Art Drawing Center is your space to explore, learn, and grow. At ADC we offer two exciting ways to learn and grow as an artist: Classes and Workshops. Here’s how they differ:
Classes (Series of 10)
Our Classes are the foundation of artistic growth at ADC, offering structured guidance in drawing fundamentals and advanced techniques. With small groups and personalized instruction, students build confidence and skill through consistent practice.
- A structured learning path over 10 sessions
- Ideal for building skills progressively, step by step
- Students stay with the same group and teacher throughout
- Focused on technique, improvement, and personal development
- Great for beginners and intermediate artists who want consistency
Workshops (Single Sessions)
Workshops are immersive, hands-on experiences that focus on specific themes, styles, or materials. Whether it’s a weekend intensive or a single-day deep dive, these sessions are designed to spark creativity and expand your artistic vocabulary.
- Each workshop is a standalone experience
- Every session explores a different theme or technique
- No commitment to a series—join whenever it suits you
- Perfect for trying something new, experimenting, or just having fun
- Great for all levels, including advanced artists looking for inspiration
Lectures
Our Lectures offer a chance to dive into the minds of artists, historians, and thinkers who shape the world of visual culture. These sessions are designed to spark ideas, challenge perspectives, and connect drawing to broader artistic and philosophical contexts.
- Explore topics like art history, technique evolution, and contemporary practice
- Hear from guest speakers, visiting artists, and ADC instructors
- Open to all levels—no drawing required, just curiosity
- Great for expanding your understanding beyond the studio
Excursions
Art doesn’t live only in studios—it’s everywhere. Our Excursions take you out into the world to observe, sketch, and absorb inspiration from real-life environments.
- Visit museums, galleries, architectural landmarks, and nature sites
- Practice observational drawing in dynamic settings
- Connect with fellow artists in shared experiences
- Led by ADC instructors with guided prompts and feedback
Whether you’re looking for steady growth or spontaneous creativity, we’ve got something for you. Come for the structure, stay for the spark!
